Welcome to Cyanotoad
Cyanotoad brings cyanotype — one of the oldest photographic techniques — to life in Vienna. Using nothing but sunlight, water, and a light-sensitive solution, you'll create your own one-of-a-kind blue-and-white prints. No experience needed, just curiosity.
We offer regular workshops in the studio, as well as custom experiences for birthdays, team building, and summer festivals — we're happy to come to you.

What you can book:
Standard Workshop — Paper is already coated and prepared, you dive right into creating your own prints using plants, objects, or your own designs. Suitable for individuals and small groups (max. 4 people).
Science Add-On — for those curious about the chemistry behind the process: mix the light-sensitive solution yourself and understand the science before getting creative. You can bring your own material to print on: textile, wood, stone - we are open to experiment with you!
Birthdays — for everyone aged 8 and up. We come to you with all materials included, for a fun 1.5–2 hour creative experience. Tell us what you imagine and we’ll send you an offer!
Team Building — designed for groups (min. 8 people). Our chemist guides the scientific part while you mix chemicals, prepare paper, and create a collaborative cyanotype project together, with artistic guidance throughout.
Summer Festivals & Parties — a cyanotype station for your event. Send us your logo and we'll print it onto film so your guests can use it in their own prints.
